White City Place

White City Place is West London’s creative campus. From global business leaders to cultural institutions, this is a community where innovative organisations thrive. With energetic shared spaces, lively restaurants and tree-lined avenues, this is a place built for collaboration.

White City Place comprises three existing buildings that have been refurbished and repositioned into modern working environments: WestWorks, MediaWorks and the Garden House. The three new buildings will provide 1,110,809 sq ft of accommodation and together will create some 8,000 new jobs in White City.

The campus has become a busy new centre for the creative and technology sectors, hosting over 3,000 staff from the BBC, research and teaching facilities for RCA, the fashion occupiers YOOX Net a Porter and Li & Fung, creative co-working Huckletree, Jellycat London, Arts Alliance Media and ITV Studios. Why This Matters

Science is changing the world. According to the Department for International Trade, more than 5,600 life sciences businesses already operate in the UK — and that number is still rising fast. With the government pledging support through its Life Sciences Investment Programme, and £9.5bn invested by companies into the sector in the last two years, a growing demand for life sciences workspace is currently outstripping supply.

This specialised asset class is attracting interest from an array of developers and investors looking to diversify their UK portfolios, transform empty commercial space and deploy capital in this growing sector. To be successful requires strategic vision and deep knowledge coupled with the expertise to construct and provide the infrastructure in which life sciences companies can locate and flourish, without breaking the bank in one of the most capital intensive real estate sectors.

Join us for Bisnow’s full-day UK Life Sciences Real Estate Annual Conference as we bring together leaders in this sector to uncover what is driving investors to sit up and take note, and how to capitalise on this by creating and operating financially sustainable buildings. We’ll be covering:

  • Net Zero Life Science Workspace
  • Converting Assets Into Lab Space
  • Delivering Next-Gen Labs to Accommodate Future Demand and Heighten Productivity
  • The Key Ingredients To Creating Successful Life Science Innovation Districts
  • Understanding Manufacturing and R&D Space

Who Attends: The most influential investors, owners, developers, lenders, agents, occupiers, planners, architects, designers, consultants and advisors currently in, or looking to expand into, this booming asset class.
