Schneider directs the financial aspects of the 5th + Broadway development project. He manages

the project budget, financial analysis, and serves as liaison between key financial partners.

Schneider’s blend of commercial real estate development and lending experience allows him to

holistically manage the financial complexities for mixed-used developments. Most recently, as a

member of the Bayer Properties team, Schneider directed the financial operations for The Summit

at Fritz Farm development in Lexington, KY. He holds a Master of Business Administration,

specializing in finance, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from The

University of Alabama.

Adrienne was most recently a Senior Development Director at GLP, having joined them in 2018 as a Development Director. She has over 15 years’ experience in the property sector, with a deep experience in land acquisition, development, leasing and building delivery, together with a wealth of occupier knowledge.

Prior to joining GLP, Adrienne spent 12 years at Lidl, most latterly as Head of Warehouse Expansion and Corporate Acquisitions, where her primary responsibility was to acquire new distribution centre sites. Adrienne has been responsible for the acquisition of over 10 million SQ FT of logistics space, including some of GLP and Lidl’s key flagship developments across the UK.

Doug is a Fellow of the RICS first qualifying in 1993. His career has been spent mostly in corporate

roles with senior positions at Tesco, Amazon and now as Group Property Director at Wincanton PLC.

Large scale real estate programmes, governance and high performing teams are particular areas of

interest. His career has taken him throughout Europe with the occasional foray into Global

Programme Governance and the mind bending fun of the Indian real estate market.

Polly joined St. Modwen in 2021 to lead the St. Modwen Logistics team. She is responsible for the strategic leadership, continued growth and performance of St. Modwen Logistics, which manages the full property lifecycle, including development, delivery, customer acquisition and retention.

Polly joined St. Modwen Logistics with extensive experience from across the real estate sector. Most recently she was Group Investment Director at student accommodation provider, Unite Group, where she also sat on the Executive Committee. Prior to that, Polly was Head of Portfolio at Landsec, where she spent eight years working across its retail portfolio.

Mr. Buck, as Managing Director of European Investments, manages the investment team and oversees the sourcing and acquiring of real estate assets across the continent. Prior to Clarion Partners Europe, he worked in the investment team at the UK opportunistic real estate fund Brockton Capital where he split his time between acquisitions and asset management activities. Before Brockton, Mr. Buck worked as an investment professional for Doughty Hanson Real Estate (DHRE), the pan-European opportunistic real estate investor. Mr Buck started his career at Deutsche Bank working in the EMEA Real Estate advisory team.

Allawee has led multi-disciplinary teams for over 10 years both within private practice and whilst in-house.

Allawee specialises in real estate development with wide experience both within private practice as well as in-house for major retailers Amazon and Frasers Group.

Allawee works with commercial developers on projects such as the development, funding and letting of retail parks, sports centres and industrial schemes. He also works closely with a number of residential developers on their acquisitions, options and promotion agreements.

Allawee also works alongside organisations and corporate occupiers within the education, retail and hospitality sectors assisting them with complex real estate projects as well as helping them with a variety of operational real estate matters.

Alan Holland is the Managing Director for SEGRO’s Greater London business. With a market value of £7bn the Greater London business includes over 417 customers. Historically concentrated in Park Royal and Heathrow, the portfolio has expanded its urban logistics and light industrial footprint in North and East London, with the London unit now spanning over 47 locations.

SEGRO is a UK Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), and a leading owner, manager and developer of modern warehouses and light industrial property. It owns or manages 9.7 million square metres of space (104 million square feet) valued at £23.8 billion serving customers from a wide range of industry sectors. Alan is a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years’ real estate experience in the industrial and logistics markets.

Aisling O’Kane is a chartered town planner with over 14 years’ experience in private consultancy and local government roles in the UK. Aisling joined Bridge Industrial in October 2021 as Vice President, Head of Planning and has extensive experience in the industrial and logistics sector.

Bridge Industrial launched its UK operations in November 2020. In May 2021, Bridge announced its first acquisition in North West London, Bridge Point Southall, followed by two further acquisitions in Barking and Uxbridge in July and a further site in Croydon in September. Bridge is actively pursuing land and development opportunities throughout Greater London, the South East, and the West Midlands.

Thinking strategically is her super-power, and she is not afraid of having an opinion. At Be First, the urban regeneration vehicle for the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham, she has transformed the team so that it delivers a planning super service, focused on fast, commercially astute outputs and which ultimately helps to deliver successful places and buildings that are really good at what they do.

Cane Napolitano is a Partner at Valor Real Estate Partners, where he is responsible for overseeing the firm’s capital deployment and investment strategy across Europe.

Prior to joining Valor, Mr. Napolitano was at IDI Gazeley Brookfield Logistics Properties where he was responsible for originating a UK acquisitions program with a specific focus on infill opportunities within the M 25 and South East markets.

Prior to IDI Gazeley, Mr. Napolitano was a member of the KTR Capital Investments team where his primary responsibilities included the underwriting and analysis of development, portfolio, and one-off Investment transactions across the South Florida and Atlanta markets.

Mr. Napolitano graduated from Lafayette College where he earned a B.Sc. in Neuroscience.

Mark is a founder Caisson iO and a member of the Executive Management Board, responsible for the strategic direction of the business. On a day-to-day basis he is responsible for the Asset Management Team and implementation of property business plans.

Since1993 Mark has worked exclusively in the Last Mile Logistic and MLI sector including as Director of European Asset Management at The iO Group (now Cromwell Property Group) responsible for €3.5bn assets across multiple European countries Mark has over 25 years’ establishing the first pan-European asset management platform to service the first cross-border institutional investor, multi-let industrial funds, totalling €3.5bn.

He has experience in running diverse teams of skills and personalities as well as the operational resources and requirements that go hand-in-hand with this. He is a qualified Chartered Surveyor, educated to Masters level in International Property Development & Management.

Mark has grown up in the property industry, experiencing all aspects from hands-on construction through to institutional fund management. He is fascinated by human trends and what type of demands this will create in real estate.

Mike is Head of Logistics at British Land. He joined from Logicor, a pan-European logistics specialist, where he helped establish the business in 2011 and focussed on UK acquisitions, developments and asset management. Mike previously worked at Deutsche Bank and is a CFA chartholder.

Christopher Stanwell is a Planning and Environment lawyer. He heads DACB’s Planning team and is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Executive.

He specialises in advising both private and public sector clients on a wide range of planning, compulsory purchase, highways and public law matters, with a particular emphasis on mixed-use regeneration, retail, infrastructure and industrial.

Sally Morris-Smith is a real estate partner at DAC Beachcroft. She has over 20 years’ experience advising clients across a range of sectors including investment, finance, development and asset management for both public and private sector clients. Her current key clients include a government department, a local authority, a UK developer and a manufacturer.

Peter Krause is a Managing Director in the Real Estate Group and is based in London. Since joining Blackstone in 2011, Mr. Krause has been involved in analyzing real estate investment opportunities across various property types in Europe. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Krause worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was an Analyst in the Real Estate Investment Banking group. Mr. Krause received an A.B in Economics from Harvard College and a J.D from Harvard Law School where he was twice named a Dean’s Scholar.

Mike is UK editor of Bisnow. Before this, alongside three friends he bought pan-European property mag EuroProperty out of non-existence and re established it before selling the business to PropertyEU. Prior to that he was editor of Property Week, and has also worked for Estates Gazette.

Vanessa joined Europa Capital as Head of Research & Strategy in September 2020. She is

responsible for providing expert guidance to support Europa’s tactical and strategic business

support needs.

Before joining Europa Capital, Vanessa held research roles at M&G Real Estate & LaSalle

Investment Management. She received an MSc in Property Development & Planning from

University College London and an MEng in European Civil Engineering from the University

of Warwick.

Vanessa demonstrates commitment to the research community in her roles as Past Chair of

the Society of Property Researchers (SPR), and current member of the INREV Research

Committee and Urban Land Institute (ULI) Smart Urban Growth group, Urban Regeneration

Council, Women Leadership Initiative and Europe Awards for Excellence jury.

Karen is responsible for leading USAA Real Estate’s Research strategy

in Europe. She assists in the development of real estate investment

strategy, as well as creating research that informs and enhances the

investment process.

Karen guides the formation of in-house views and has been instrumental in pioneering

in-depth research to support USAA Real Estate’s logistics strategy in Europe.

She joined USAA Real Estate in 2017 and is based in Amsterdam. Prior to this, Karen

was a Director at JLL, within the London based EMEA Research team.

As Director, Head of UK Logistics for Trammell Crow Company, Mr. Forster is responsible for the overall direction, strategy, sourcing, acquisition, financing for the development of large-scale logistics development projects including all commercial acquisitions for the firm throughout the United Kingdom.

Mr. Forster has over 30 years of experience leading strategic logistics development. During his career, he has delivered some of the UK’s largest logistics parks, working on them from inception to completion, and has also developed several build-to-suit projects for a wide variety of major occupiers.

Tia van Beek studied Law at the University of Leiden and Libera Università International Degli Studi Sociali in Rome, with a major in International and European Law. During my law studies I acquired also a Propaedeutic in Architecture and construction at the Technical University Delft. For a short period, I was a Trainee at law firm Studio Associati in Rome. Back in the Netherlands in 1994 I started as an Agent at DTZ Zadelhoff in The Hague. In 2001 I became responsible for the rental of developments at the Dutch National Railway in the regions The Hague and Amsterdam. I continued my career as Consultant at Shell Real Estate in 2004. After four years I was hired by Uni Invest (currently Merin) and became Asset Manager for the portfolio consisting of approximately 200 office and light industrial/logistics. In 2013 I became Director Equity Funds of Antea Real Estate Management until Goodman approached me to become Country Manager Netherlands in 2013. Five years later Internos, now Principal, hired me as Director Transactions responsible for investments and managing the Dutch office in Amsterdam.

Massy Larizadeh has over 30 years’ experience across the financial services sector, including in M&A, strategy and business development. She has spent the last sixteen years in the property sector in strategy, capital raising, financial advisory and product development roles in large and small firms, investment managers and in corporate finance advisory, with a pan European perspective. She has experience of working in the UK, France and the United States, and she has held senior management roles at GE Capital, GE Real Estate, Cushman & Wakefield Investors and Deloitte Real Estate. She also has three NED Board roles, with a focus on strategic advice, building businesses and governance that comes from Board responsibilities. Massy is a non-executive director at Orbit Group & Orbit Treasury, a large national Housing Association, and at London & Partners, the promotional agency for London tasked with bringing foreign direct investment, tourism, events and higher education into the London economy, funded by the Mayors office, she is also a Trustee for One Trust charity.
