Lorcain Egan is a Vice President in Starwood Capital’s Capital Markets Group. Mr Egan is responsible for financing the firm’s direct real estate investments in Europe and managing foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives. Since joining Starwood in 2013, Mr Egan has secured $3bn of financing and originated $400m of European loans for the firm’s various debt vehicles. Prior to joining Starwood Capital, Mr Egan was a Vice President at Barclays Bank where he worked in their Structured Property, Debt Finance team. In this team Mr Egan focussed on originating real estate debt opportunities for Barclays.

Caroline joined Green Property REIT Ventures in September 2013 as Chief Investment Officer. She is responsible for Investment Management, sourcing new acquisitions, disposals and maximising opportunities that match the investment objectives of the Company. In addition she manages the bi-annual Independent Valuation process and is part of the Sustainability Committee. Prior to joining she was an Executive Director and Head of the Capital Markets team of CBRE in Ireland during the period March 2005 to February 2012. Prior to joining CBRE in 2003, Caroline established the property investment team within Bank of Ireland Private Banking. She also previously served in a variety of roles in property investment in the UK including King Sturge (now Jones Lang La Salle) and Hill Samuel Asset Management (now Scottish Widows). Caroline is an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors.

Colm Lauder is the Real Estate Analyst at investment bank Goodbody. Colm leads Goodbody’s UK and Ireland listed real estate company coverage, covering stocks such as Green REIT, Hibernia REIT, IRES REIT, Hammerson, Great Portland Estates and Derwent London, and is a top ranked analyst (4th in 2017) according to Thomson Reuters’ Extel survey. He is a graduate of Cambridge University and Dublin Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Goodbody, Colm spent six years with MSCI (formerly known as IPD) where he lead the real estate market consultancy business for the UK and Ireland, covering investment analytics, risk, performance measurement and research.

Joe McGinley has been self-employed in the commercial real estate sector for nearly a decade and has strong relationships with all leading estate agents and landlords in Dublin. Joe studied for six years with the Irish Auctioneers and Valuer’s Institute (now SCSI) as a property surveyor and worked at some reputed Estate Agents before opening his first property firm in 2008. He built valued relationships with his expanding client base of financial institutions, developers, builders, investment companies and large-scale private clients. In 2011, Joe opened Bespoke, a well- known estate agent based on a busy corner of Lower Baggot Street in Dublin’s CBD. His one-man business grew to a team of ten before being sold to a local competitor in 2016. In 2013, Joe noticed the lack of quality workspace for innovative companies in Dublin. He obtained long-term leases for office buildings, refurbished them and rented space to small companies who recognised the importance of progressive workspace. The goal was to open a new building every quarter on a controlled budget and quickly build a large portfolio of locations finished to a high standard. Joe’s vision and passion for creating inspirational workspace unites the whole Iconic Offices team. His drive and work ethic are relentless. His passion for design and the business he has built are infectious. Joe will be spearheading the completion of an expediential 2018 growth plan, where Iconic Offices will open three further locations to the size and scale of over 160,000 sq ft combined. All design-led buildings will offer culture driven, flexible workspaces through fully serviced office suites, as well as dedicated and floating desks, stretching from daringly restored Georgians to modern spaces on Silicon Docks.

Tiffany has been with mac-group for 5 years, and during that time the business has grown steadily to a €155m turnover last year. She has been working in the commercial interiors industry with architects, designers and specifiers for over 20 years. Her undergraduate degree is in marketing, and her career path went from business development to owning her own contract furniture business, to a Master’s in Digital Marketing, and now a Directorship at mac-group. She says, ‘I know it seems obvious, but we must be careful not to forget that the built environment is for occupiers to optimise and enjoy!’ She is a LEED Green Associate, and this qualification, combined with her years working alongside office designers, has given her an understanding of what drives wellness, loyalty and productivity in the workplace. As the mac-group’s Marketing and Communication Director she is the custodian of the mac brand’s tone of voice. She believes that an organisation’s employees are its greatest brand evangelists, and that the interior space they occupy while at work provides a vital opportunity for employers to communicate the brand values and culture to staff.

Roland was appointed Chairman of Savills in October 2014. He joined the firm in 1981 and during this time he was primarily responsible for the Office Agency Department. He has advised numerous high profile clients in their search for office property in Ireland, including State Street for their new Dublin HQ. This was the largest city centre office transaction since the Citi HQ deal in 1999 – a deal in which Roland was also involved. More recently he secured the letting of city centre HQ’s to Facebook and Yahoo! He is also a past President of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland.
