Event Summary

They say that “everything is bigger in Texas,” and that goes for the opportunities in Downtown Dallas. Some of the city’s biggest new projects — like the AT&T Discovery District, First National Bank Tower and the Thompson Hotel — are downtown, and developers are itching to find the next big opportunity here.

As Uptown lease rates rise and deals become harder to pencil in, investors and developers are starting to see Downtown real estate plays as diamonds in the rough. Companies are increasingly looking to move downtown to Dallas, even from as far away as California and the northeast. This has resulted in high demand for top-quality office space. Additionally, there are several multifamily developments in the pipeline for 2020, which will continue to attract residents and tenants to the area. It’s safe to say the future of Downtown Dallas looks bright!

From historic Elm Street to the soaring 1980's skyscrapers in the Central Business District, Downtown Dallas has the bones for redevelopment and a complete revival is now underway. Hear from top developers, including Woods Capital, Wildcat Management and Todd Interests, as they discuss the risks, rewards and potential of developing and redeveloping in Downtown Dallas.
