Gary Kerr is a Senior Managing Director for Greystar Development Services in the Northeast region. Gary is responsible for managing new development projects and expanding the development pipeline for Greystar in Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Previously, he served as a Managing Director of the Boston-based Cronin Development and a Senior Director at Tishman Speyer.

Gary has been active in the industry since 2005 and has managed multiple large-scale, ground-up developments of various asset classes including residential, office and life science. He previously led the redevelopment of Boston’s iconic Pier 4 and worked on the master-planning entitlement of over one million square feet of commercial development in the Kendall Square submarket of Greater Boston.

Gary received a bachelor’s of arts in Business from Saint Anselm College as well as a bachelor’s of science in Mathematics from Queens University. He also earned a Master’s of Science in Construction and Real Estate from the University of Reading, and a Master’s of Business Administration from Boston College.

In addition to creating plans as a senior project designer, Dan is focused on developing and implementing efficient and good design practices for the entire TRIA office. As an Associate Principal, Dan implements his leadership role with creative team building sessions.

With more than 16 years of experience, Andrew Lynch leads Wise Construction’s institutional work across Greater Boston, with a focus on higher education and complex occupied environments. Since joining Wise in 2012 as an Assistant Project Manager, he has advanced into a leadership role through his ability to guide projects from early planning through completion. Andrew’s portfolio includes work for Harvard University, Harvard Business School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston University, Boston College, and other institutions across the region, giving him firsthand experience navigating active campuses and technically demanding academic spaces. Johannes Fruehauf (MD PhD)With his background as a physician working in diverse health systems, coupled with 20+ years as a serial biotech entrepreneur, Dr. Fruehauf has dedicated much of his professional endeavors to supporting life science entrepreneurs and start-upcompanies. Dr. Fruehauf is currently General Partner and co-founder of Mission BioCapital (MBC). In his role at MBC, Johannes sources, diligences, and leads new life-science investment transactions and represents thefund on the board of a number of MBC portfolio companies.

He is also the Founder and President of LabCentral andBioLabs, the largest provider of laboratory co-working space for startups nationwide, currently serving over 300 startups in 14 cities. Over the past three years, the companies started within this network secured over 20% of all Seed and Series A venture capital invested in life sciences in the US.

Johannes studied medicine in Germany and France, while also conducting field work in Africa (Zimbabwe and Guinea). Thereafter, he practiced medicine (internal medicine and OB/Gyn) for several years in Germany before coming to Boston for a post-doc at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School.Johannes graduated from University of Frankfurt and received his doctorate from the University of Heidelberg. He is also the author of over 30 peer reviewed publications and is named inventor on 9 issued patents on drug delivery and RNAi-based therapeutics.

Kimberly Bedard serves as the Senior Manager of Global Real Estate for Charles River Labs, a contract research organization, where she is responsible for managing the company’s 200+ property portfolio, performing leasing and sales activities, and developing strategy for the different business units under

the CRL umbrella. Kim works extensively with the CRADL business for CRL in selecting new locations and working through the leases for vivariums and animal care facilities. Previously Kim worked in the retail real estate field for TJX and the life sciences development field for BioMed Realty. She is a

graduate of the University of New Hampshire and Georgetown University.

Tzveta Panayotova is a senior laboratory planner with nearly two decades of experience delivering complex scientific facilities for global clients. Tzveta uses her extensive knowledge of design requirements, sustainability and lab standards to create efficient and engaging spaces that help researchers collaborate and discover. Her projects encompass higher education, corporate R&D and government buildings with typologies spanning from bioscience/biomedical to chemical and engineering facilities. Recent lab buildings she has helped plan and design include a pharmaceutical fit-out and consolidation for Sanofi in Cambridge, Mass., a large-scale government Covid testing site in the United Kingdom, and the Center for Artificial Intelligence & Human Health at Mt. Sinai in New York City. An active member of the laboratory community, Tzveta is involved in the AIA New York Science & Research Facilities Committee and Boston Life Science Events. She serves on the HOK’s Mentorship Committee and is a member of SEFA Labs, NY Builds Bio+ and the Association of University Research Parks.

Mr. Stephen N. Faber serves as an Executive Vice President of Related Beal, LLC. Mr. Faber served as Senior Vice President and Partner of Related Beal, LLC(also known as The Beal Companies, LLP). Mr. Faber oversees asset and property management of Beal owned and managed real estate as well as development of real estate investments. His diverse experience includes management, leasing, sale and development of individual assets and portfolio management for a variety of property types: research and development, office, retail, multi-family and planned unit developments. Mr. Faber has managed assets in seventeen different markets from Jacksonville, Florida to Seattle, Washington. He has significant systems design and implementation experience, and has authored and published detailed Policy and Procedure Manuals for property operations. Prior to joining Beal and Company, Inc., Mr. Faber was Vice President of Property Management with the Rubin Organization in Philadelphia. Mr. Faber was responsible for the management of over 5,000 apartment and condominium residences in five states. Preceding his employment at the Rubin Organization, Mr. Faber was Director of Property Management for Liberty Real Estate Group, a Boston-based real estate subsidiary of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, where he developed a fee management subsidiary serving institutions, partnerships, and individuals. Mr. Faber is a Member of Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Mr. Faber received a BS degree in Business Administration from Boston University.

Ms. Bicknell joined Tishman Speyer in 2021 to lead the development of the Enterprise Research Campus across from the Harvard Business School in Boston. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer, Ms. Bicknell was Vice President and Head of New York Development for Oxford Properties Group where she was responsible for the development of St. John’s Terminal, the anchor of Google’s new Hudson Square campus in NYC. Ms. Bicknell also spent 13 years at Forest City New York where she led the development of Cornell Tech, and played a leading role in the development of Pacific Park Brooklyn and Barclays Center where she was responsible for the negotiations with the City, State & MTA. She also worked as a Legislative Aide for the late Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, and was the Federal Policy Director for Smart Growth America. Ms. Bicknell was a 2017 Rockefeller Fellow and is a member of WX and ULI, including the University Development & Innovation Council. She holds her BS in Urban Studies from Cornell University, where she is the Vice Chair of the Cornell Alumni Trustee Nominating Committee and a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council. Ms. Bicknell holds her MBA from the Wharton School.

Dan McGrath oversees the leasing and asset management of Berkeley’s overall investment portfolio. In this capacity, he develops and implements strategies to add value to the portfolio, manages all leasing activity, and oversees property performance. He is also involved in investor reporting and has served in project management roles overseeing permitting efforts and redevelopment projects at various properties across the portfolio. Before joining Berkeley, Dan spent nearly 14 years at New Boston Fund, a private equity real estate investment firm. Dan is an active member of ULI as well as NAIOP, where he is past chair of the Programs Committee and a member of the Executive Committee. He is a past recipient of the NAIOP MA President’s Award and its National Developing Leader Award. Dan is also an active volunteer with United Way. He holds a BA from Harvard University and an MS-RED from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

With more than two decades of experience as a life sciences and healthcare real estate investor, developer and operator, his career spans a period dating back to when institutional life sciences real estate was still emerging as a distinct asset class. His career spans acquisitions, leasing, development, and asset repositioning across major US life sciences markets, with involvement in more than $10.5 billion of acquisitions, 12.4 million square feet of leasing, and 4.6 million square feet of campus repositioning projects in Boston, the Mid Atlantic, Research Triangle Park, San Francisco, San Diego, and Miami. Bill was a pre-IPO hire at BioMed Realty Trust and an early team member at Wexford Science and Technology, where he helped build two of the platforms that shaped the modern life sciences real estate market. His experience spans the full life cycle of laboratory, GMP, clinical, and R & D environments, including technical infrastructure, regulatory requirements, and the operational needs of pharmaceutical, bio technology, medical device, CDMO, and university research users. More recently, Bill has focused on complex and dislocated situations, supporting owners, lenders, and investors in navigating stalled projects, capital structure challenges, and asset repositioning decisions, with an emphasis on restoring stability and long-term optionality.

Travis McCready is the head of life sciences markets in the Americas for JLL, one of the largest commercial real

estate advisories in the world. In this capacity, he leads a multi-country platform that includes brokerage, capital

markets, project management, consulting & advisory, and valuation services for life sciences companies, developers

and investors. He also co-leads the firms Innovation Districts Practice, helping plan, build and finance innovation

districts all over North America.

Travis has over 25 years of experience leading public, private, and non-profit ventures with a focus on technology

and innovation based economic development. The former President & CEO of the $1.6 billion life sciences funding

agency Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, Travis is passionate about supporting tech-based entrepreneurship

and is a frequent speaker on the evolving role of technology-based economic development at the community and

regional level. He remains active in the life sciences community serving on the boards of the global business

accelerator MassChallenge, the global life sciences business enabler Nucleate, and Wentworth Institute of

Technology in Boston. He also serves in advisory capacities at Harvard University, MIT, and Johns Hopkins

University. No stranger to public service, Travis has served on the Economic Development Planning Council under

three Massachusetts governors, has been appointed to state and national initiatives ranging from the arts to

advanced manufacturing.

Travis received his B.A. in Philosophy from Yale University, and J.D. from the University of Iowa.

Ben joined the MassBio team in 2017. As Vice President of Economic Development and Workforce, he oversees MassBio’s relationship with municipalities, international organizations, and the local real estate and development community. He also works with member and non-member companies to support their decision-making on relocation or expansions. Through relationships with foreign economic development agencies, Ben works to connect foreign companies to the US market. Additionally, he serves as a resource for Massbio member companies as they look to grow their operations in Massachusetts from a personnel standpoint.

Prior to MassBio, Ben worked as Director of Business Development and Regional Strategy at the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center where he was responsible for recruiting new companies to do business in Massachusetts and developing relationships with municipalities across the Commonwealth with the goal of expanding the industry state-wide.

Ben has a B.A. in Political Science from Union College(NY). He lives in North Reading with his wife and two kids.
