Why You Should Attend the Atlanta Multifamily Conference

Why This Matters:

Multifamily investment had been at a torrid and historic pace in the several years following the pandemic, but has settled in the past 18 months due to new supply entering the market, and stubbornly resistant and elevated interest rates investors have been forced to compete with. While much of 2025 represented a digestion period for multifamily vacancy, occupancy has turned to represent it’s lowest total in years. With new supply tapering off due to aforementioned challenges, rental rate growth has begun to materialize. With an initial interest rate cut in September, capital market and supply dynamics seem to be pointing in a positive direction. Atlanta’s fundamentals remain strong for Atlanta multifamily investment - this event will outline the opportunity for future growth.

What You'll Learn:

  • With supply easing, and improved leasing momentum, when will the math make sense for acquisitions and project starts for new communities in the Atlanta residential market?

  • How are cap rates, rent growth and stabilized occupancy shaping underwriting for Atlanta multifamily development heading into 2026?

  • What signals are investors monitoring to reactivate capital at scale in Atlanta?

  • How is the building community viewing the makeup, location, and scale of new projects as deliveries cool?

  • How prepared is the market for a wave of new project starts from a cost and labor availability perspective?

  • How are managers and owners differentiating communities to accelerate lease-up today?

  • How much focus has been shifted towards renewing existing residents, and what best practices are being implemented?
