Continental Towers, owned by Glenstar and Rubenstein Partners, is situated on 34 acres in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The 910,000 square foot, Class A office complex underwent a $20 million redevelopment in 2020. The complex is comprised of three, 12-story towers connected to a multi-level “HUB” offering tenants access to a variety of amenities including a tenant lounge, game room, deli, convenience store, flower shop, a large conference center and a 23,000 square foot health club operated by Midtown Fitness. The highlight of the property is the 1+ acre outdoor space, offering flexible seating areas, outdoor games, a turf area for health and wellness activities and plenty of space to work, meet and relax. 30,000 square feet of brand new spec suites will be completed in August 2021.

Why This Matters

What You'll Learn:

  • How much of a flight to the suburbs are we actually seeing and what towns are seeing the most activity?
  • Multiple major suburban campus redevelopments are underway. What, if anything, did the pandemic change about them?
  • Most retail outlets including outdoor shopping centers and malls have struggled over the past year. Could a suburban population boost help these retailers get back on track?
  • How will the choices companies make about their workforces affect the future of the ‘burbs?

How You'll Do More Business: When the pandemic hit last March, Chicago started emptying out.  Some residents fled for more space and access to the outdoors. Now that the vaccine is being rolled out, the question is, how many will choose to stay in the ‘burbs?

Who You'll Meet: Investors, architects, developers, property managers, brokers, city officials, GCs and engineers.

What Your Ticket Gets You: Digital summit tickets include two panels of content and access to three virtual networking opportunities including direct messaging with other attendees, the ability to request and host video meetings and three-minute video-enabled speed networking to make deals happen. Unable to attend live? Don’t worry, you will be able to access recordings of all panels for 30 days after the summit!
