Colorado made big strides as a sustainable development state in 2015. Here are some fast facts about the rise of green development in the Centennial State (data from the US Green Building Council-Colorado Chapter).

LEED Certifications in Colorado in 2015: 127, up from 102 in '14.

Colorado was the No. 2 state in square feet of LEED certification in '14, according to the USGBC; the 2015 rankings will be published soon.

Number of LEED-certified buildings in the state that were Platinum last year: 10, including D4 Urban's Denizen, pictured, which was the first market-rate Platinum multifamily property in Denver.
