Sprouts To Anchor Village At Central Park Station

Placeholder

Retail may be beleaguered (or maybe not), but grocery stores are still eager to be in new mixed-use developments. Recently Sprouts Farmer's Market signed a 30K SF lease to anchor Village at Central Park Station, which is adjacent to the 4M SF mixed-use Central Park Station One development by Forest City Stapleton in the Stapleton neighborhood. Village at Central Park Station is on the University of Colorado A Line, linking Downtown Denver and DIA.

The Sprouts will open in fall 2018 in the 3500 block of Central Park Boulevard, one block from the train station. D.H. Friedman Properties, developer of Village at Central Park Station, is also developing about 110 mixed-income condominiums and 12K SF of additional retail space in the surrounding block, bordered on the north by 36th Avenue and on the west by Uinta Street.

Forest City and Friedman plan to kick off their respective developments next spring. Forest City plans to turn Uinta Street into a pedestrian plaza, with additional retail and chef-driven restaurants.
