Confluence Cos. is set to break ground on Timberline Farms at 11700 West 58th Ave. in Arvada, a rental property that will include 302 apartments and 12 three-bedroom duplexes. It will also have 709 parking spaces. Full completion is slated for early 2019.
Confluence Cos., which is locally based, has other projects in progress in greater Denver: Castle Rock's Riverwalk; a condo redevelopment of the former El Jebel shrine; and a Five Points apartment development, the Denver Business Journal reports.
According to Confluence principal Tony De Simone, Timberline Farms will feature a number of sustainable elements, including composting, community gardens and narrow streets that provide a traffic-calming effect. The streets will also encourage residents to walk to the property's community clubhouse and green spaces, he said.
