Younger Millennials take note: Denver is one of the top 10 cities in which to start a career, out of the 150 largest markets in the country, according to WalletHub. The Mile High City came in at No. 8, immediately after Miami and ahead of Irving, Texas.

Salt Lake City topped the list, followed by Orlando and Austin.

The company ranked cities on 23 metrics, including the availability of entry-level jobs, monthly average starting salary, annual rate of job growth, commuter-friendly jobs, share of population 25 to 34 and workforce diversity.

At the bottom of the list were Augusta, Georgia, Cleveland, and Newark, New Jersey.
