Mile High Development is a veteran of large scale mixed use projects including Colorado Center, a $100 million mixed use project at I-25/Colorado Blvd. in central Denver in conjunction with TIAA-CREF, the world’s largest private pension fund, which launched its first phase in 1986 and completed the second and third of the ultimate six phases in 1999. The project features a 9 screen United Artists Theatre with an IMAX Theatre, and 600,000 square feet of Class A office space in two 12 story towers, and 1600 structured parking spaces. Mile High Development was also the Developer of the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Office Building in downtown Denver, a $200 million, 700,000 square foot Class AA office building developed for the City and County of Denver in 2001/2002. Mile High Development was the Co-Developer of the $100 million Co-Development Project in concert with the Denver Art Museum expansion project, which included the 980 space Cultural Center Garage; the 55 unit Museum Residences condominium/mixed use project that was completed in 2007, and the 165 room ART Hotel which opened in July 2015. Mile High Development was also Co-Developer, with Opus Northwest, of Lakewood City Commons, an $80 million mixed use retail, office/civic and community development, including a new City Hall for the City of Lakewood. Today, Mile High Development is focused on various mixed-use TOD opportunities, including affordable housing projects utilizing LIHTC at existing light rail stations along the southeast I-25 corridor, and the new R line/Aurora light rail corridor, including the Apartments at Yale Station, a 50 unit Senior 9% LIHTC affordable housing project at the Yale light rail station completed in 2011; University Station, a 60 unit Senior 9% affordable housing project located at the University of Denver light rail station completed in February 2014; the 66 unit 9% LIHTC affordable housing project, Garden Court Apartments at Yale Station, which will be completed in June 2016. Mile High Development and Koelbel and Company broke ground in April 2016 on the 112 unit Ash Street Apartments, a 4% LIHTC affordable family/workforce project adjacent to the 9 th and Colorado redevelopment project on the former University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. In partnership with Koelbel and Company, Mile High Development was selected by the City of Aurora and the Aurora Urban Renewal Authority in 2015 as the Master Developer of the Regatta Plaza Shopping Center at Nine Mile Station, a 22 acre site which will be redeveloped into a 700,000 sf TOD project beginning in the Fall 2016 and will include a new 80 sf King Soopers; 500 market and affordable rental housing units; an entertainment district featuring restaurants and entertainment retail, and a major office component, all connected by a PED bridge to Nine Mile Station. In 2011, Mr. Thorn was the co-recipient(with Mr. Buz Koelbel)of the inaugural Transit Alliance Leadership Award as Outstanding Leader in the Private Sector. In 2001, Mr. Thorn was named Honorary Dean of the Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management at the University of Denver, and is currently serving DU as Executive in Residence. Mr. Thorn received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona in 1967. He is a former Board member of NAIOP, and is a Full member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and a member of the ULI Executive Committee. He is a former Denver Urban Renewal Authority (DURA) Commissioner, and was Chair of Downtown Denver, Inc., in 2002 &2003, and Chair of the Downtown Denver Partnership in 2004.

Chad has been focused on the commercial real estate industry for 17+ years beginning his career in 1998 at Grubb & Ellis Company. After five years of working in the Investment Properties Division at Grubb & Ellis, Chad was recruited to CBRE, a Fortune 500 company and the world’s largest commercial real estate services firm, to form the Colorado Region’s Private Capital Group (PCG). Chad expanded the group’s market share in Colorado from near zero to over 23% in just three years, personally transacting on over $1 billion of commercial real estate properties. Due to his success, CBRE’s senior executives took notice and promoted Chad to the Managing Director of PCG at a national level overseeing 180 brokers in 21 markets. During his five year tenure, he expanded PCG’s reach into 54 markets across the US and Canada consisting of 350 brokers and staff. At the peak, his team traded $6.2 billion in commercial real estate in a single year generating over $100 million in revenue to the firm. In 2008, Chad was promoted to Senior Managing Director making him the youngest person in the firm to achieve that that title worldwide. Additional accolades include PCG’s Broker of the Year, PCG’s Innovator of the Year, PCG’s Team of the Year and consistently finishing in the 10 producing brokers in the Colorado Region. In 2007, the national publication of Real Estate Forum Magazine recognized Chad as one of their annual “Standout Stars.” Since leaving CBRE and forming Brue Capital Partners, Chad has been acquiring commercial properties throughout the US with a focus on properties located in Colorado. Chad’s extensive knowledge of commercial real estate and his vast network of contacts within the industry are invaluable to this effort and will serve the Company well.

Since joining TCR in 2007, Matt has been involved in the development, construction, asset management and disposition of seven market-rate communities, representing 2,387 units with a total capitalization of over $400 million. His primary responsibilities include sourcing and executing development opportunities within the Mountain States region. Prior to joining TCR, Matthew served as a Development Project Manager for Wild Oats Markets, where he sourced and executed retail joint ventures both domestically and internationally. Matthew is a graduate of the University of Virginia and also holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Mr. Bush is a founder and senior partner in LCP Development. Founded in 2014, LCP specializes in mixed-use infill development and redevelopment. Recent projects include Oxford Station, the two-building, 238 unit TOD apartment project in Englewood, Link 35, a mixed–use 66 unit apartment project in RiNo and 1525 Sloans, the renovation of a 50,000 SF office building and construction of 6,000 SF of ground up retail. Previously, Mr. Bush was a shareholder and Executive Vice President of Lowe Enterprises, Inc., a national real estate investment, development and management company. Mr. Bush joined Lowe in 1986 and was responsible for the company’s commercial development and acquisition activities in Colorado, Texas, and the Midwest, representing approximately six million square feet and more than $500 million in total value on behalf of its various pension fund and institutional clients. Major projects included the acquisition, entitlement, and development of Interpark70, a six building 750,000 SF industrial project and the redevelopment and renovation of Park Central, a 535,000 square foot office complex in downtown Denver. Mr. Bush was the 2002 President of the Colorado chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), previously served on the National NAIOP Board of Directors and is LEED certified. Mr. Bush is a fourth generation Colorado native and lives in Littleton with his wife and two children. Education: University of Denver, MBA; Bowdoin College, Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

As President of SW Development Group, Scott Yeates primarily focuses on the development of affordable housing in the Colorado market. Mr. Yeates’ strategy includes the repurposing of urban infill sites in an effort to preserve affordable housing in transitioning and established neighborhoods. Projects under development include the Foundry Apartments, a 70-unit affordable housing development in Englewood located at the former General Iron Works foundry; SloHi Flats, a 45-unit affordable housing development in the Denver Highlands neighborhood; and a mixed-income multifamily development in Steamboat Springs. SW Development Group has successfully facilitated the development of 376 units serving low income households and multiple market-rate multifamily projects totaling in excess of 500 units. Mr. Yeates serves on the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority’s Tax Advisory Group.

Charley Babb focuses exclusively on procuring debt and equity financing for commercial real estate projects. Mr. Babb has over 35 years of experience in mortgage banking and the commercial real estate industry. He served as a Director for 10 years with the mortgage banking firm of Johnson Capital in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Babb co-founded and served as Senior Vice President of Kensington Capital, a Dallas, Texas real estate investment banking firm and prior to that he served as Vice President with Grubb & Ellis Mortgage Group where he gained experience as a mortgage broker. In addition, he spent 14 years with Paragon Group, Inc. where he served as Vice President of Special Projects, Development and Asset Management for the firm. Mr. Babb has focused on corporate finance initiatives. He was one of three team members responsible for coordinating Paragon Group’s undertaking to become a publicly traded real estate investment trust. Mr. Babb participated as a member of the road show presentation teams both domestically and internationally during the marketing of the company prior to the initial public offering. Mr. Babb has been involved in the leasing, asset management, development and financing of over $2.5 billion of commercial and multifamily real estate during his career. EDUCATION; Harvard University Masters Degree in City and Regional Planning; University of Kansas Bachelors Degree in Environmental Design. Mr. Babb enjoys golf, tennis and fly fishing. He is active in his church and community philanthropic endeavors.

Bryan C. McFarland is a principal in charge of development for Alberta Development Partners, LLC and brings more than 30 years of development and construction experience to the firm. His current responsibilities include providing underwriting support for all acquisitions and new development in the Companies’ development pipeline, along with overall responsibility for all entitlements, due diligence, pro-forma development, design, construction and tenant coordination for all of Alberta’s retail and mixed-use developments. He is presently overseeing several redevelopment projects including the Foothills mall in Fort Collins, Colorado, the Simi Valley Town Center in Simi Valley, California, and the Maui Mall in Kahului, Hawaii as well as development of a ground up hybrid power and entertainment center in Downey, California, and a mixed use development in Tempe, Arizona totaling 2.2 million SF. During the course of his career, Mr. McFarland has developed more than eleven million square feet of retail, office and commercial space. Completed Alberta Development projects include Southlands, The Streets at Southglenn, Cornerstar, the Promenade at Denver West and Whole Foods Market at The Shops at Highland Village, totaling 3.8 million square feet. Prior to joining Alberta, he was vice president of Capital Services for The Mills Corporation, where he was responsible for managing design and construction at four super regional value oriented shopping centers including Arizona Mills, The Block at Orange in California, Katy Mills in Texas and Colorado Mills, comprising 5.2 million square feet of retail. Prior to his tenure with Mills, he served as project manager for Hapsmith Development on the 1.2 million square foot super regional “SuperMall of the Great Northwest” in Seattle. Additionally, Mr. McFarland oversaw design and construction of one million square feet of hospital, medical office, retail and tourism-related development projects in Alaska.

Peter leads the Denver office, managing operations and seeking new development opportunities in the market. Most recently, Peter was principal at Inverness Properties, where he managed the brokerage operation and oversaw the company’s material leasing and sales activities. Throughout his more than 30-year career, Peter has been actively involved with acquisitions, major lease transactions, sourcing equity partners, investment sales, land sales and build to suits. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from Boston College. He is a member of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.

Jeremy Records founded Central Development in 2005 and he has successfully grown the company to over $550 million in development and acquisitions of office, industrial, retail, residential, multifamily, and hotel properties. Central Development has constructed facilities for companies including, Samuel Sons, FMC Technology, JR Butler, EdgeConnex, Applied Control Equipment, Gordon Holdings Corporate Head Quarters, Reglera, Reed Construction Data, and Colorado, Rincon Research, Carrier West, Amazon, and Plastic Surgery Center.

Ryan is involved in all aspects of East West Partners’ Denver holdings, including development and management of existing assets and business development for future opportunities. Prior to joining East West Partners he held various commercial real estate positions in Denver and Chicago with Archstone Communities, Colorado Business Bank, The Broe Group, US Bank, and GMAC Commercial Mortgage. Ryan holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and is the past Colorado President of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business alumni association.

Bill Strang serves as President of the Americas’ Operations for TOTO USA and Chairman of TOTO Mexico. In these capacities, he is responsible for all of TOTO’s North American operations, including supply chain, design and development engineering, quality, ISO, environmental resource management, and management of TOTO’s five North American plants with 1.8 million sf under roof. Under Bill’s leadership, TOTO has received numerous awards and recognitions for its leadership in environmental resource conservation, including the U.S. EPA’s Water Efficiency Leadership award (TOTO is the only plumbing manufacturer so honored); former Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue’s Water Conservation Leadership award; the South face Sustainable Homebuilders’ Argon* award; the City of Atlanta’s Phoenix Award, and the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper’s River Sustainability award. Recently, the Brookings Institution distinguished TOTO for its leadership in Clean Economy jobs creation.

Rob also represents private companies and entrepreneurs in diverse transactions, including acquisitions, public and private debt financing, joint ventures and general corporate governance. Rob has played several important leadership roles at Brownstein including co-chair of the firm’s nationally recognized Real Estate Department and lead shareholder on some of the region’s largest real estate developments.
