Hines Preps 40-Story Office Tower

Hines will start work next week on the 640k SF 1144 Fifteenth, its 40-story office tower on 15th Street between Arapahoe and Lawrence streets. According to managing director Jay Despard, the building will be able to accommodate companies looking for large contiguous spaces. JLL will be leasing space in the spec building, which is expected to fetch between $32/SF and $40/SF, the Denver Business Journal reports. Houston-based Hines has been active in Denver for decades; in 1982, it developed the 52-story Wells Fargo Center. [DBJ]
