As coronavirus infection rates drop in Texas and nationwide, Granite Properties is gaining new traction when it comes to office leasing activity.

The real estate investment and development firm inked 34K SF in new leases this month at its 90-acre Granite Park mixed-use development, which sits at the section of Dallas North Tollway and State Highway 121 in Plano.

The new tenants are marketing firm The Point Group, software company Digital.ai and infrastructure firm HNTB.

“As vaccinations are being rolled out, we have seen an uptick in leasing activity. The three new leases at Granite Park demonstrate the demand for well-located, Class-A space in a walkable, amenity-rich neighborhood,” Granite Senior Managing Director Will Hendrickson said in a statement.

Granite has spent the past year investing in building technology to improve the health of every asset via its $10M Inspire Wellness Initiative. The program fast-tracked the launch of clean air technology and Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization and improved HVAC systems and touchless features inside Granite office buildings.

The Point Group leased nearly 15K SF inside Granite Park Three and plans to move employees from its existing office in Preston Center this month. Meanwhile, HNTB will move into Granite Park Two in August to occupy over 14K SF.

Digital.ai, which is only a year old, launched originally in a Spaces coworking site in Plano and relocated to Granite Park Three in March to occupy 5K SF.
