McKinney Feeling The Power With A Corporate Relocation

Emerald Transformer, a Florida-based electrical equipment company, is moving its corporate headquarters to McKinney.

The 40-year-old company’s new HQ will be at 7850 McKinney Parkway in the Craig Ranch development, according to the Dallas Morning News.

"Moving to Dallas will allow us to access all our facilities with direct flights and will serve as a centralized hub as we continue to expand,” Emerald Transformers CEO Stuart Prior said in a statement. "In addition, this will give Emerald a presence in the Texas utility market where we have aggressive expansion plans.”

No moving date has been announced.
