Word on the street is that JP Morgan Chase has finally landed a deal for at least 1M SF in Legacy West, we learned at Bisnow’s Power Players: The Women Who Influence Real Estate event Wednesday. One of the noted panelists said “the giant coming to Legacy West has a name” and that an announcement should be coming soon.

There are multiple mega-deals floating around, but JP Morgan Chase appears to be a sure thing; an announcement has not been made because of confidentiality agreements. The likely site within Legacy West is somewhere on the 80 acres available between FedEx and Liberty Mutual. Sources tell us CBRE’s Jeff Ellerman and JLL's Russell Cosby are repping JP Morgan Chase, but we couldn’t reach them for comment.

The global financial services firm and one of the largest banking institutions in the US has been on the hunt for space since spring. Reports in October linked the banking mammoth with Legacy West.
