Bugs, Brew, and Basketball
Taking advantage of the pretty weather and some March Madness, Younger Partners hosted a crawfish boil and NCAA watching party just outside its offices on Thursday. We snapped the gang gathered around the crawfish. (There were no races of the doomed crawfish, but there was a contest for who had the biggest. The winner was not company leader Moody Younger, but we’ll leave it at that.) Moody’s pick for the tourney: the University of Kansas. Moody tells us the company is waiting to hear about two new leasing assignments and the firm has another pitch this week. If they win them all, it’s a total of about 700k SF.
Kathy Permenter got up close with this crawfish (which really wasn’t pulling her hair). She and three colleagues were recently awarded the leasing for the 261k SF Preston Plaza. She also just returned from a spring break trip to Normandy and Paris with her twin sons, Alec and Ryan (both TCU students), two nieces, and one of the boys’ friends. She tells us they did a D-Day tour, visited Mont St. Michel, attended a PSG game, and drank the most amazing hot chocolate every day in Paris. Ooh la la!
