Plano’s $3B Legacy West is open for business. Design-build construction company Outside the Lines debuted a 4K SF water fountain as the centerpiece for the 415K SF mixed-use development.

CBRE’s Jack Fraker was promoted to managing director of global industrial and logistics. Fraker will continue to serve as the head of business development and portfolio sales for CBRE’s national partners.

Randy Baird joined CBRE as executive vice president and Dallas leader of the firm’s national partners industrial specialty group. Baird will have responsibility for the wider South Central region.

Data center infrastructure technology company Aligned Energy appointed Andrew Schaap as CEO. Jakob Carnemark, founder, chief technology officer and now former CEO of Aligned Energy, will focus on expanding the company’s portfolio of technology solutions and global opportunities.

Infrastructure firm AECOMf hired Courtney Emich Spellicy to its Buildings + Places practice in Dallas. Spellicy will help grow the firm’s design presence in multiple markets, including North Texas.

Dominus Commercial Inc. promoted Justin Owen to managing director. Owen is responsible for developing and managing the leasing team and growing Dominus’ office and industrial portfolios.

Tony Barraco joined the Irving Music Factory at Las Colinas as general manager, and JP Gomez joined as director of marketing.

Jimmy Hutton bought the 15K SF building at 2832 Blystone Lane in Dallas from Skinner Allan Investments. Mercer’s Keenan Cook repped the seller.

Dan Hewitt and Laura Hewitt sold 4.3 acres of commercially zoned land at 1303 Royal Parkway in Euless to Iris Enterprises. Silver Oak Commercial Realty’s Russ Webb represented the buyer.

Sunset Park purchased a 4K SF office and medical building at 6144 Precinct Line Road in Hurst. Silver Oak Commercial Realty’s Russ Webb repped the seller, JPC Realty. Vintage Realty’s Rich Muller repped Sunset Park.

Savannah Developers of Texas sold the 5K SF Lone Star Office Park at 16360 Addison Road in Addison. PMRG’s Shea Byers repped the seller. Morrow Hill repped the buyer, Pride Staffing.

CenterSquare Value-Added Fund III, the joint venture between CenterSquare Investment Management and Foundry Commercial, sold 2280 North Greenville Ave., a 228K SF office complex in Richardson.

The Drunken Crab Restaurant purchased an 8K SF freestanding restaurant building at 8204 Bedford Euless Road in North Richland Hills. Structure Commercial’s Monika Guzman represented the buyer, and Vision Commercial’s Michael Tran represented the seller.

Younger Partners’ Ben McCutchin and Michael Ytem negotiated the sale of nine acres at the northwest corner of Fishtrap Road and FM 424 in Aubrey. A local investment group purchased the land from an undisclosed seller with plans to hold it for investment.

An affiliate of Hartman Income REIT completed a 22K SF, six-year lease to Independent Dealer Group Inc. at Central Park Business Center in Dallas.

Simon and Cassco Development Co. inked five new dining options in the expanding retail, restaurant and entertainment mix at The Shops at Clearfork in Fort Worth. The first-to-Fort Worth eateries are rise n°3, Doc B’s Fresh Kitchen, Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar, City Works Eatery and Pour House, and Cru Food & Wine Bar.

Hillwood is opening an office at The Carnegie in Fort Worth’s Sundance Square. The 9K SF location will be a regional office for the Hillwood Energy division and a satellite office for the Hillwood Properties and Hillwood Urban divisions.

Burger and beer restaurant Slater’s 50/50 will open its newest location at 2817 Greenville Ave. in Dallas. The restaurant will feature three levels with a bar on each floor and a rooftop patio. The ground floor is 4K SF, the roof is 1,400 SF and the mezzanine is 1,200 SF.

Kiss It Good Buy leased 9K SF of retail space at 201 Franklin in Grapevine. Structure Commercial’s Eric Deuillet negotiated the lease.

The Kraft Heinz Co. inked a 261K SF lease (including 90K SF of cold storage), making it the largest tenant of Logistics Pointe Garland at 2600 McCree Road in Garland. CBRE’s Kevin Kelly repped landlord Westmount. CBRE’s David Sours repped the tenant.

Texas Ballet Theater leased 6K SF of retail space at 670 North Coit Road in Richardson. Structure Commercial’s Eric Deuillet represented the landlord, and Transwestern’s Andrew Marcus represented the tenant.

Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of a Whataburger ground lease. The 4K SF net-leased property is at the intersection of Texas 114 and Interstate 35W in Fort Worth. Marcus & Millichap’s Vincent Knipp and Ryan Wolf represented a private investor in the acquisition of the Whataburger.

MYCON General Contractors relocated to its renovated headquarters at 17311 Dallas Parkway in Dallas. MYCON acquired the 50K SF building in 2015 and completed renovations in March 2017. O’Brien Architects provided architectural services.
