When it comes to high-end multifamily properties, renters want to be where the action is, says Gables Residential prez/CEO David Fitch(far right at the June 29 Dallas Bisnow Multifamily Summit). That means apartments in good neighborhoods with a Starbucks and night life nearby. It's a great phenomena, David says, that resulted from the condo rage with more retail and an exciting urban environment. It's happening in Dallas with the development of Uptown as well as in Atlanta and Houston, he says. |
