Capping off a successful DFW Bisnow capital markets event last week, we skipped the thank you plaques and cheesy gifts for our speakers and sponsors and took ‘em to Watel's World Piece Café at 1802 Lowest Greenville Ave. in Dallas. Among the group wereBisnow's own Mike Farber, Kurz Group's Rick Kurz, L&B Realty Advisors' David Gleeson, Cushman & Wakefield's Stephannie Mower, Churchill Capital Partners' Duke Stone, Walker & Dunlop's Vic ClarkMichael Katz, and Ryan Herron.

Watel's World Piece Cafe's Roy, Marc and Rene
After more than 23 years in Uptown, Watel's moved to its current location, featuring dishes influenced by different areas around the world. Its illustrious Roy, Marc, and  Rene  know how to wine and dine and keep their last names to themselves (it worked for Fabio or Ronaldinho). Our group enjoyed a five-course meal and lots of Dallas hospitality, with a nice glass of wine (or three or four), a relaxing atmosphere, and affordable fine dining.
