DID YOU KNOW?

DID YOU KNOW?
DID YOU KNOW?
It's Friday, so how 'bout some lighter fare: We snapped the Dallas Renaissance the other day because it finally clicked why they call it the "Lipstick Building." It isn't the 31 floors corresponding to 31 shades of lipstick. And it isn't the fact that it was built in 1984, one year after the Flaming Lips came together. Perhaps it's obvious where the name comes from once you get a look at it's pink granite. Sometimes you can over think these things. Have a great weekend!
