With more than 20 years of economic development experience in the public sector, Mr. Maso supports Ryan clients to improve profitability through business growth and development. Previously, Maher Maso served as the CEO of the Prosper Economic Development Corporation. Maher Maso also proudly served as Mayor of the City of Frisco from 2008-2017, named by the U.S. Census Bureau as the fastest growing city in the country in the last decade. Under Mayor Maso’s administration, the City of Frisco has received dozens of awards and attributions including Money Magazine “Best Places to Live List” and Allstate’s “Safe and Secure Communities List” Maher Maso works to represent small and large companies to create public/private partnerships and to create jobs in communities by negotiating incentives and focusing on site selection. His initiatives as Mayor positioned the City of Frisco as a hub of first-class entertainment, sports and sports medicine including the home of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, FC Dallas and the world headquarters of the PGA. He has been interviewed by Newsweek, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, and others. Maher is a regular keynote speaker and has spoken globally for government, trade associations and corporations.

Elise Eberwein is executive vice president – People and Communications. She leads human resources, media relations, team member communications and engagement, community relations and social media. Previously, Elise served as executive vice president – People, Communications and Public Affairs for US Airways. She has 32 years of airline experience across several airlines, and has lead media relations, employee communications, customer relations, community relations and government affairs. She began her career as a flight attendant for TWA while earning an undergraduate degree in Mass Communications from Lindenwood University. She later earned an MBA at Colorado State University. Under her stewardship, American has set out to make culture a competitive advantage with an emphasis on creating an environment that cares for frontline team members who directly serve the airline’s customers. Additional work includes leading the People team in revamping American’s maternity and adoption assistance programs, implementing system- wide implicit bias training, and building a multi-year leadership development program that reinforces the airline’s Leadership Attributes. For 16 years American has achieved a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index, and the airline consistently receives top scores on the Disability Equality Index. American has also been recognized by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Employee Resource Groups and Councils, Diversity MBA Magazine, LATINA Style, Black EOE Journal and Equal Opportunity Magazine. In addition to her work at American, Elise serves on the nonprofit boards of the Arthur W. Page Society and the Wings Club.

Tim Skipworth is Vice President, Airport Affairs and Facilities for American Airlines. In this role, Skipworth oversees American's relationships with Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport and 300 non-hub airports, and its facilities work system-wide. Prior to this role, Skipworth was Managing Director and Associate General Counsel at American. He has also held other positions during his 17 years at American Airlines, including managing director, properties and senior attorney. Before coming to American. he was an associate at Gardere Wynne Sewell, LLP. Skipworth has a Bachelor of Arts in history from Southern Methodist University. a Master of Arts in international relations from Columbia University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia.

Samuel Dabney Ware, is the firm ’s deal generator and has been investing in Dallas area commercial real estate for over 38 years. He is the recipient of D Magazine's 2018 "Developer of the Year", a seven-time recipient of the Dallas Business Journal’s Real Estate Deal of the Year Awards and in 2016 received D CEO's Real Estate Deal of the Year Award for the acquisition of the JCPenney Campus. Mr. Ware's real estate projects have typically been value-added or re-purposed existing properties. Projects through his firm Lazarus Property Corporation, where he has served as President & CEO since 1992, have included over $650 million in real estate acquisitions across the office, retail, regional malls, and condo conversions. Notable projects have included purchasing the then failing 1.1 million SF Prestonwood Town Center Mall in Dallas, TX in 1999, developing plans to turn the enclosed mall into an open-air concept, and reselling the property to an affiliate of Goldman Sachs within 2 years for a 3X return on investment. Prior to Lazarus Property Corporation, Mr. Ware was the founder of Dabney Companies where he primarily focused on multi-family developments and shopping centers before the 1987 crash, acquiring over $350mm during this period. Since 2012, Mr. Ware has been focused on investments in the oil & gas industry through his firm Catalina Commodity Partners, LLC. Mr. Ware is enthusiastic about re-entering the commercial real estate market after taking a hiatus during the post-2008 downturn. Mr. Ware earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Abilene Christian University. Former adjunct real estate professor at Abilene Christian University. Mr. Ware lives in Dallas and is a long time resident of the area. His two grown daughters are married and also reside in Dallas.

Aaron Sherman is the co-founder of Stillwater Capital and oversees the company’s development and investment activities. Prior to forming Stillwater Capital, Sherman spent 10 years with Hillwood Development, a Perot Company. At Hillwood, Mr. Sherman served as a development manager, with responsibilities that included managing the development and construction of over $150 million of large urban mixed-use projects within Dallas’ Victory Park district. Mr. Sherman also spent several years within Hillwood’s strategic investment group, focusing on both direct and third-party joint venture investment opportunities. During his career, Mr. Sherman has participated in the acquisition, development and disposition of real estate assets of various property types – including residential, hotel, office and industrial – totaling more than $2.0 billion dollars. Sherman received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Texas A&M University.

As Director of Analytics for Costar, Paul oversees creating compelling data and analysis to enhance the visibility and understanding of the Dallas-Ft. Worth market. He analyzes corporate real estate trends and market dynamics, leveraging that knowledge proactively for thought leadership content, strategy, business development efforts, and client decision making. He has an extensive background previously serving as Director of Research of the Carolina for JLL, Economics Account Executive for IMPLAN, Director of Research for the Charlotte Chamber, Independent Economist, Adjunct Professor of Applied Economics at the University of North Texas, and Director of Research for the Dallas Regional Chamber. As the Founder Hendershot Economics, Paul had the opportunity to define the Life Sciences industry for BIOCOM, amongst other projects in the Greater San Diego region, with research being highlighted in the Wall Street Journal, San Diego Union Tribune, and NPR. In addition to Paul’s research experience, he served in the US Air Force as a communications specialist, where he held a top secret security clearance. He worked in Presidential Communications while stationed in D.C at Andrews AFB and also served at RAF Croughton, England for three years. He also volunteered to take part in Operations Joint Endeavor (IFOR) in Bosnia. While in the Air Force, Paul attended the University of Maryland and studied Sociology at the University of North Texas, receiving his B.A., graduating cum laude. He soon began his graduate work in Applied Economics at the University of North Texas, receiving his M.S in 2006. Outside of work, Paul is an avid aviator, enjoys traveling, and reading.

Bill is the Chairman for the Dallas-Fort Worth Area of Prosperity Bank, a $22.5 billion bank in Texas and Oklahoma. With over 25 years of banking experience, Bill has been in multiple roles, including Controller of a bank as well as over 20 years in the commercial banking sector, including multiple roles as a market or regional manager. Bill has served on the board of and volunteered for many non- profit service/charitable organizations and has been involved in multiple community activities.

Zach is the co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Pender Capital. Zach co-founded Pender in 2015 and brings over 16 years of experience in both commercial real estate finance and capital markets expertise. Zach oversees the firm’s Investment and Research program which includes deal sourcing, research, and structuring and is a member of the Investment and Research Committee and the Management Committee. Prior to Pender, Zach served as Managing Director/ Senior Vice President for Liberty SBF, a commercial finance company based in Philadelphia, where he was responsible for establishing Liberty’s Western Regional HQ in Los Angeles and directed West Coast originations and operations. Zach personally originated over $60 million of commercial loans during the first year of operations on the West Coast. In 2008, Zach joined Silver Point Capital, LP in New York, a Goldman Sachs partner fund, where he was responsible for commercial real estate loan originations and insurance-linked securities trading. During his tenure at Silver Point, Zach traded more than $500 million in distressed commercial real estate debt, insurance-linked securities, and assets in the capital markets. Scott Beck has helped finance billions of dollars-worth of high-profile projects throughout the country. Mr. Beck was also instrumental in the development and design of Trophy Club, a 2,400 acre master planned city in Texas. Legacy projects are his passion, hence his vision for the 430 acre Dallas, Texas district, “Dallas Midtown” which includes the $4 billion redevelopment of Valley View Mall. Mr. Beck has worked at some of the top financial institutions in the country. As an Associate Vice-President at JP Morgan Chase and Co.’s Lab Morgan, he focused on new business formation and corporate strategy for the bank globally. Prior to joining JP Morgan Chase, Mr. Beck was a member of SG Cowen’s leveraged Finance Group, where he provided support to clients who access the high yield and leveraged finance capital markets. Preceding SG, Mr. Beck was a senior auditor at Ernst and Young LLP. Mr. Beck received a Masters of Accounting from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin where he completed his B.B.A. Mr. Beck is a member of the Board of Directors of United Texas Bank and is President of Beck Properties Trophy Club. Additionally, Mr. Beck serves on the boards of various educational and charitable organizations.

Mehrdad Moayedi has been a fixture in the construction and development business for more than 32 years, observing the real estate and market trends of North Texas to consistently drive business success. In 1990, he established Centurion American Custom Homes, and has taken on executive duties as president and CEO of Centurion American Development Group. John serves as Partner at Transwestern Development Co. (TDC®), where he directs all industrial development activities as the national leader of the Logistics Group. He is responsible for strategic direction and day-to-day management of the group and works with the regional development officers on business development and project execution. John brings to his role 35 years of experience in the real estate business. Prior to joining TDC he held a variety of senior roles with other firms. John has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

As Vice President of Real Estate Development in the South Central Region, Paul is responsible for building relationships and sourcing development opportunities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and focusing on office, industrial, corporate build-to- suit and mixed use, as sites and customers dictate. He has extensive development experience throughout the Dallas area, with a focus on large, high-profile development projects. Jeff is a Project Executive at DPR Construction in the Dallas-Fort Worth office, with over 24 years of construction industry expertise. His background provides a balance of private and public sector residential, hospitality and commercial developments, including The Union Dallas, Factory Six03, and Capital One. In his role, Jeff delivers projects successfully by combining strategy, direction and highly motivated leadership with experience, organization, passion and dedication. He oversees commercial and corporate office projects, and guides ongoing preconstruction process and strategic client partnerships. This scope of work encompasses supporting regional growth strategies and administering business development best practices. Prior to joining DPR Construction, Jeff was an integral team member at a large general contractor, where he worked on many iconic projects in the Dallas area such as the Perot Museum, the Gaylord Texan Resort, the Omni Dallas Convention Center Hotel and One Arts Plaza. He recently served on the Real Estate Council Foundation Board and chaired its Professional Services Committee.
