What to do with the 90-acre megamall known as Forest Fair Village, which dates from 1989 but has been mostly empty for more than a decade? A team of Cincinnati real estate brokers is trying to find a new use for the region’s biggest retail white elephant, the Journal-News reports.

Though Amazon and Apple have been suggested as users for the property, the strongest interest so far has come from a Christian media company in Nashville. That entity is eyeing the property — after considerable renovation, presumably — for use as a TV and movie production studio.

According to NKF Managing Director John Thompson, there has been an offer on the property, though it is under the asking price of $55M, as listed by its New York-based owner. He said there will probably be another offer soon from another user, who wants to bring a warehouse and distribution facility to the site.
