Sterling Bay Continues To Pace Fulton Market Development

Walk around Fulton Market and you'll be hard-pressed to avoid the shadow cast by Sterling Bay. Between 1K FultonFulton West and the Harpo Studios campus, Sterling Bay continues to lead the charge of Fulton Market development.

One such project is expanding in scope, Curbed reports. The 23k SF site at Lake and Carpenter streets was originally supposed to be a five-story ground-up office development. But with demand continuing to grow and more developers seeking opportunities in the market, Sterling Bay's new plan is a 13-story commercial building with a total footprint of 218k SF.

Dubbed 210 N Carpenter, the project is steps from the Morgan Street "L" station that has helped revitalize Fulton Market into a live/work/play TOD district. New renderings show plans for ground-level retail, a rooftop garden and two levels of parking. Delivery is expected between Q4 2017 and Q1 2018. [Curbed]
