Leaked! Sterling Bay’s Big Plans for Oprah’s Old Space

The first renderings for Sterling Bay’s plans for the former Harpo Studios campus have leaked online. In a change from Sterling Bay’s standard practice of gut rehabs, it looks as though the firm will smash the largest existing structure and do a ground-up office project. Sterling Bay bought the block-sized Harpo Studios campus for $32M last year, reports Curbed Chicago. Located near the Randolph Street restaurant district and the United Center, expect whatever Sterling Bay has in the works to attract hip, tech-oriented businesses when completed. [CC]
