Not all tech-savvy companies are moving downtown. Disruptive real estate brokerage Redfin announced it's tripling its office footprint at O'Hare Plaza. The company will occupy 26k SF by Dec. 1.

The expanded space will allow agents, support staff and operations managers to work more closely together. Its proximity to O'Hare is convenient for company employees visiting from other markets to meet and train together, while O'Hare Plaza's location near the Cumberland Avenue Blue Line "L" station makes it easy for workers to commute via public transit.

Founded in Seattle in 2006, Redfin expanded to Chicago in 2008. O'Hare Plaza is owned by Fulcrum Asset Advisors and totals 707k SF across four interconnected buildings at 8725, 8735, 8745 and 8755 West Higgins.
