105-Unit TOD Planned Near Grand Avenue Blue Line Station

Developer Wicker Park Apartments wants to build 105 apartments near the Grand Avenue Blue Line "L" station. The proposed development at 710 W Grand would be located 315 feet from the station's entrance and would take full advantage of Mayor Rahm Emanuel's proposed changes to the TOD ordinance. The plans also include ground-level retail. The development is in the early stages of the approval process. Another TOD near the Grand Avenue Blue Line from Akara Partners is expected to be delivered next spring. [Curbed]
