Bricton Group paid $20M for the Marriott Lincolnshire last month. Now it's ready to spruce up the resort with a $22M rehab project.

Bricton Group is leaving no nook or cranny unturned. The rehab will include updating the hotel's 389 rooms, common areas, King Wharf restaurant, meeting space and theater, Crain's reports. Bricton hired Gettys Group to handle the renovations.

Strategic Hotels and Resorts put the hotel up for sale last year, after it determined the asset didn't fit with its luxe hotel portfolio. Since then, Blackstone Group bought Strategic in a blockbuster $6B deal. [Crain's]
