Next Realty has awarded Stream Realty Partners the leasing assignment for 620 North LaSalle in Chicago, the newly renovated 80K SF office building in River North named for its address.

Stream will implement its office workspace platform, Rapid Offices, in the building, offering fully furnished move-in ready spec suites and coworking space. Stream's Rapid aims to simplify and expedite office leasing with services like virtual tours, online applications, Docusign leases and credit card payment options.

Stream’s Adam Showalter, Patrick Russo and Jessica O’Hara will handle leasing and marketing efforts for 620 North LaSalle, which is 100% vacant.

Longtime home of The Sports Authority and its predecessor, Sportmart, 620 North LaSalle received a gut renovation from Next Realty in 2019, including new windows; high-speed elevators and cabs; new electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems; and a rooftop deck with panoramic views of Chicago. The eight-story building was leased entirely by Spaces, an Amsterdam-based affiliate of coworking giant International Workplace Group.

Spaces built out its space to accommodate coworking clients, bringing desks, suites and fully furnished floors with telephone and data services to the building, as well as a gym, a large reception area and conference rooms. The location was ultimately subject to the company's nationwide bankruptcy process.

Spaces lists two Chicago sites on its website, one in Fulton Market and another at 1500 North Halsted on the Near North Side.

Stream Realty announced the launch of Rapid in August. At the time, Stream said landlords would be able to leverage the platform to take over failed coworking facilities.
