McCaffery Adds Partner For Children's Memorial Project

McCaffery Interests announced Hines Interests as a JV partner as it moves forward with its $350M mixed-use development of the former Children’s Memorial Hospital campus in Lincoln Park. CEO Dan McCaffery plans to close on the $50M sale of the campus from Lurie Children’s Hospital later this year and begin demolishing the existing structures immediately after. When the project is completed in 2018 it’s expected to include 160k SF of retail, 60 condos and 540 luxury apartments, according to Curbed Chicago. Hines is also developing River Point and Wolf Point downtown. [CC]
