Baum Development Wants to Convert Pilsen Warehouse to 111 Apartments


Developers continue to bet people will flock to Pilsen if they build apartments. Baum Development is seeking a zoning change on a vacant warehouse at 931 W 19th St so the group can build 111 apartments and add an extra floor to the five-story building. The 98k SF building used to house a wholesale plumbing fixture business; Baum also wants to build 70 parking spaces on an adjacent parcel and 70 bicycle parking spaces on site, according to DNAInfo.
