What that means: I help businesses securing financing and also provide free emotional therapy during the process!
What your company does: SomerCor 504 provides SBA financing to companies looking to grow and expand.
Memorable project: The new development at 401 N Morgan is memorable because it’s a large, multi-faceted project. It includes restaurant and event space along with a distillery in the bustling West Loop. It is providing over 100 new jobs to the area.
Hometown: New Lenox
School: Finance degree from DePaul
First job: Trinity Services. I was a job coach/mentor for folks with learning disabilities.
First CRE job: SomerCor 504

Person (living or dead) to meet: Abe Lincoln. He’s a man who faced a lot of challenges to accomplish what he did in his lifetime and he stood up for what he believed in.

Daily habit: Checking emails during dinner as well as too early in the morning or late at night (at least according to my wife).

Favorite movie: The Hangover
Favorite vacation: First trip to Mexico with Callie.
Favorite restaurant: Hubbard Inn—I love their lamb meatballs.
Bucket list: For me it’s not really about individual items to check off a list; it really is about being remembered as someone who made a positive difference.
Family facts: For 18 months now I have been married to the most amazing woman on the planet. We have two “children”, our dogs Ozzie and Maxwell.
Hobbies: Work, work and being involved.
Startling fact: I’m going to be the next Alderman of the 27th ward.
