Each of Paine/Wetzel's  32 brokers has an area of responsibility, or a specific corridor that they know absolutely everything about, Ed says. That's how its been keeping alive during the recession; in fact, it just completed a 260k-SF lease to Roosevelt Paper Company  in Alsip, combining two buildings into one. Ed (whom we snapped with Jim ?Moose? Swartchild) tells us real estate permeates almost every aspect of his life; he even spends weekends meeting or hanging out with clients.
