The West Suburbs Need More Jobs

We spoke with JLL VP Bruce Renwick, one of our panelists, and he told us that the west suburban office market still needs more job creation before it’s going to see an uptick in leasing. Unemployment and, just as importantly, underemployment remain still too high. In the long run, however, he has faith that the US and Chicago economy will eventually create those jobs, and the market will start to move. The question remains: When? |
