THE WORLD IS YOUR OFFICE

Yesterday, we toured one of Regus's executive suites on the 35th floor of 2 Prudential Plaza and discovered there may be alternatives to calling Starbucks our home office. While there, we snapped Regus'Kim AungChristina HoustonCris GardockiJeff Doughman,Linda Chiles, Julie Mitchell, and Courtney Lane. Jeff says the company has clients as big as Google  and as small as one lawyer working on a law review. Its next feature: businessworld, allowing customers to use drop-in space at any office, any time (kind of like going home to your parents to do laundry, only all over the world).

Jeff tells us clients can get traditional or virtual office space (a phone number and address, plus phone/mail forwarding). Here he is showing us one of the executive corner offices. Recent wins in the Chicago area include the 1000th office opening in a mixed-use center in downtown St. Charles, as well as a new sublease from Staubach, whose office spaces have been vacant since it merged with JLL  last summer. Jeff says now that they've got space in all the ?NFL cities."
