What's the one gift you always wanted? Thanks to BOMA/Chicago, ninety local children will get just that. Its cocktail party Tuesday including toy donations to Horizons for Youth. Emerging leaders gathered in the observatory of the Hancock Center to be in the spirit, and maybe consume some as well.
 

CBRE's Adam Devlin-Brown  and Patrick Hughes (celebrating the completion of major renovations at their building, 11 S. LaSalle)  are joined by Strata Contractors' Rhett Ledford. The makeover included a new lobby, corridor and bathroom renovations, and sprinkler system; the facade had been behind scaffolding since 2004. Rhett's company does the renovations at Wrigley  and donated a brick from the field as an auction prize. Though why there was a brick on the field escapes us. This isn't Philadelphia after a loss.

The ladies of Golub: Deidre LarsonDina Searle, and Mary Ellen Smith came out on the eve of the opening of their company's Elysian Hotel development. It features, we're told, old-fashioned luxury and an average room size of 890 SF. (In honor of the one year anniversary of the Blagojevich arrest, that sounds bleepin' golden.)
