The Chicago Architecture Foundation is almost finished with its new Model City exhibit, which features an updated, scale plastic model of the CBD. It's taken months to design the city by computer and then pour the plastic one thin layer at a time. (Yet only minutes to find a Lego man with Rod Blagojevich's hairstyle.) Finishing touches remain before the exhibit is officially unveiled Wednesday night in the atrium of 224 S. Michigan Ave. Look for more on this later this week.
