Not only can he sit and roll over, industrial and office guru Randy Podolsky of Podolsky|Circle CORFAC International can now add retail leasing to his repertoire. Both the Big Ed’s BBQ relocation from 30 N Genesee St to the 3,000 SF building at 4030 Northpoint Blvd in Waukegan’s Fountain Square mixed-use complex (ownership repped by JC Forney Realty’s Ralph Huszagh) and Kreks Wine & Spirits new 2,500 SF lease at 2435 Washington St in Waukegan (a former 7-Eleven, ownership repped by Horizon Realty Services’ Jason Lenhoff) have personal significance.

Here's Big Ed himself and Common. Randy’s an avid boater and 22-year member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary based in Waukegan, and these new locations are easily accessible from Waukegan Harbor. (This is definitely his greatest trick yet.) “The personal convenience of these retail establishments will make it easier to serve great food and libation for those enjoying an afternoon on the water, something that is near and dear to me,” he says. The new buzz on the street: Will Randy give opening remarks this year at ICSC RECon in Vegas?
