| The epidemic of building renamings has moved north from Willis Tower. PNC Bank expanded and extended its lease at the tower on the corner of Madison and Franklin on Friday, bringing its presence to116k SF and extending the lease to 2022. PNC also signed for the naming rights, so update your rolodex to say PNC Centre. The name will be displayed above the building entrance and on a sidewalk monument. Tishman Speyer’s Ellen Meline May and Jon Cordellrepped building ownership while UGL Services's Todd Mintz andAndy Strand repped PNC. Law firm Cremer Spina also signed an 18k SF lease in the building, now 81% leased. (Its employees have decided to call the building the Cremer Center. They just haven't told anybody.) |
