| The Irvine Co is under contract to purchase the Hyatt Center (71 S. Wacker) for $625M, Crain's reported this morning. The 1.5M SF tower is owned by Frankmon LLC, a group that includes its developer, Pritzker Realty Group.The offer would put the building at $419/SF, much higher than the expected $390/SF. Bisnow reported earlier this month that the building is now the biggest LEED Platinum structure in the city, maybe even the country. Calls to Pritzker Realty and Irvine Co, based in California, were not returned by press time. |
