Golub’s Redevelopment Plan at 110 S Franklin

Chicago

We snapped Golub leasing VP Steve Degodny and principal Lee Golub at a Beatles-themed rebranding party for 110 S Franklin (formerly 311 W Monroe), a 380k SF office tower Golub acquired last year. The "Magical Mystery Tour" had drinks from Revolution Brewery, food from Firefly, and live Beatles music. (No word on whether Ringo songs counted.) Prizes for attendees were themed to Beatles songs and included "Here Comes The Sun" (two business class tix to the Caribbean and three nights at a top hotel), won by DTZ's Scott Goldman.

Steve tells us redevelopment plans for the property, to be completed in 2015, include turning the existing lobby into retail and creating a new entrance on Franklin. He's currently seeking an anchor tenant (the building can accommodate up to 350k SF of contiguous space) to replace BMO Harris Bank. The bank's in 70% of the building and vacating at the end of 2014.
