White Lodging will develop a premium hotel adjacent to the upcoming Ally Charlotte Center’s 26-story office and mixed-use tower, Crescent Communities announced Wednesday.

The hotel will feature 350 rooms and suites, 20K SF of meeting and event space, multiple dining options and an open-air rooftop deck.

“From wholly owned and chef-driven food and beverage experiences to highly amenitized meeting and conference space we know the hotel White Lodging will deliver will be extremely well-received in Charlotte,” Crescent Communities President of Commercial and Mixed Use Brian Leary said in a statement. “Together, we expect to redefine placemaking in Uptown Charlotte.”

Ally Charlotte Center and the hotel will be a block from the Lynx Light Rail Stonewall Station and adjacent to the Charlotte Convention Center and the Whole Foods Market at NOVEL Stonewall Station, also being developed by Crescent.

White Lodging is based in Merrillville, Indiana, and develops and manages premium-brand properties with urban designs.

“Charlotte has a young, well-educated workforce and offers a great quality of life; everything we look for in a market that we believe will continue to experience strong, sustainable growth for years to come,” White Lodging CEO of Investments and Developments Deno Yiankes said.
