Don't toss your business suits just yet. The Queen City is still thesecond largest banking hub in the US, despite word that Bank of America intends a sweeping national cut in its workforce, as many as 30,000 jobs. Local implications aren't clear yet, Chamber president Bob Morgan tells us, but the city is still rich with financial institutions, including Wells Fargo—which took over the former Wachovia—and expanding banking groups that include Fifth Third Bank and US Bank.
