FBI's Boston Office Moves Into New Digs In Chelsea

The FBI Boston Division relocated its HQ to a brand-new facility at 201 Maple St in Chelsea. The 268k SF facility is on about five acres and is LEED Silver, and is being leased for the FBI by the GSA for 20 years. ACS Development Corp developed the building, from which the division will continue to serve Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, as well as oversee 10 satellite offices across those states.

The move marks the first time the FBI Boston Division will be in a stand-alone building. The division previously spent 23 years at One Center Plaza in Boston. “This new facility will give our employees and law enforcement partners better security, upgraded technologies, and provide more room for our growing task forces,” says Harold Shaw, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Boston Division.
