At Bisnow’s 3rd Annual State of the Seaport event, March 26, Vidaris’ regional director Walter Hartnett will discuss his work on 101 Seaport, Seaport Square’s first office tower, 75% of which will be the headquarters for PwC. Vidaris is the project’s building envelope consultant assisting on the design, selection, procurement, and construction monitoring of the enclosure systems. Skanska is developing the 17-story, 440k SF office tower with 20k SF of ground-floor retail at the corner of Seaport Boulevard and Boston Wharf Road.

Walter, whose firm provides building envelope and sustainability consulting and monitoring services, says that Skanska is investing in a very advanced enclosure system that will bring significant benefits in energy efficiency and durability. The façade helps to significantly reduce energy loads and improve tenant comfort close to the wall, maximizing natural daylighting without sacrificing thermal efficiency. Added benefits: greater acoustical control and a more flexible interior that accommodates a wider range on interior uses. Hear more from Walter and the other experts, register here
