AC Hotel By Marriott In South End Underway

National Development is moving forward on construction of an AC Hotel by Marriott at its Ink Block development in the South End. The 200-key property should finish late 2017.

The hotel will be among the first AC Hotel by Marriott properties on the East Coast, the Boston Business Journal reports. Founded in 1998 by Antonio Catalán, AC Hotels has over 80 properties in Spain, Italy, France, Portugal and New Orleans; the brand was acquired by Marriott in 2011. [BBJ]
