Placeholder

Recovery Centers of America, which has been expanding its footprint in the Northeast, is planning two new facilities in Massachusetts.

The two sites are in Westminister and Danvers, with Westminster opening first (next month), providing a 90-bed facility on the 19-acre campus of Wachusett Village Inn. It will house beds for detox patients, longer-term residents and extended care, the Boston Business Journal reports.

The second site, at the former Hunt Hospital in Danvers, will open by September and offer 209 treatment beds. The company is opening other facilities in Maryland, New Jersey and in the company’s home state of Pennsylvania. [BBJ]
