The new 100 Broad St. tower plan

Two months ago Court Collaboration announced plans for a 51-storey Birmingham residential tower, one of the tallest in the latest wave of skyscraper development.

Just two months later and the ÂŁ160M Court scheme at One Eastside has been overtaken by plans for a 63-storey block at 100 Broad St.

Glancy Nicholls Architects has unveiled the design for 100 Broad St., set to be one of the tallest buildings in the UK outside of London, a statement from GNA said.

An application has been submitted recently to Birmingham City Council for full planning approval.

Standing at 193 metres tall with a super slim profile, 100 Broad St. will be the pinnacle high rise in the emerging Broad Street cluster of tall buildings.

The scheme tops a list of nine proposals for Birmingham skyscrapers over 25 storeys, added to another three with approval and four under construction.

Euro Property Investments is behind the plan. It has 500 open-market sale apartments and a rooftop restaurant.
