The seven-screen CinéBistro movie theater and restaurant opens today as the starring feature of the $120M redeveloped Rotunda apartment and shopping complex in Hampden.

Instead of the usual popcorn and soft pretzels, CinéBistro offers a full food and drink menu similar to what you might find at a restaurant. Crab cakes, steak, calamari, and mac and cheese are among the menu items from chef Mark Davis. Guests arrive at least 30 minutes before a show to order food and drinks from a reclining leather seat. Each theater in the 33k SF complex seats between 70 and 100. It is the 11th CinéBistro from Cobb Theatres of Birmingham, Ala.
