Wanted: Developer For 49-Acre Park Heights Project

Baltimore
Placeholder

Baltimore City has issued a request for a developer to transform 49 acres in the Park Heights neighborhood of Northwest Baltimore. Baltimore's Department of Housing and Community Development is seeking a master developer that can create a pedestrian-friendly, mixed-income and mixed-use neighborhood that contains plenty of public spaces and is accessible by public transportation, the Baltimore Business Journal reports. The city started tearing down buildings in the area in December to clear the way for new development. Proposals are due May 27, and the city will make its selection in the fall. [BBJ]
